Single Braid HMPE or Dyneema Splice: The Trap to Avoid
A single braid splice is an excellent solution for finishing an HMPE or Dyneema rope.
But beware: if it is not under tension, it can come undone by itself.

Without load, the natural fiber slippage causes the splice to gradually open.
