This set of 3 INSIGNA self-adhesive patches allows you to quickly repair, reinforce or protect a sail or equipment made from polyester fabric.
With their 22.5 × 22.5 cm format, these patches provide enough surface area to treat a tear, reinforce a weakened area or protect part of the sail exposed to chafing.
Easy to keep on board, they can be used both for emergency repairs and for preventive reinforcement.

How to Repair a Sail with an INSIGNA Patch
For good adhesion:
1️⃣ Carefully clean and dry the area to be repaired.
2️⃣ Cut the patch if necessary to fit the damaged area.
3️⃣ If possible, round off the corners to reduce the risk of peeling.
4️⃣ Remove the backing and apply the patch, pressing it firmly onto the sail.
5️⃣ Smooth the surface to remove air bubbles and ensure even adhesion.
For a more durable repair of a tear, we recommend, whenever possible, applying a patch to both sides of the sail to distribute the loads more evenly.
INSIGNA Patch, Tape or Fabric?
The 22.5 × 22.5 cm patches are particularly suitable for local repairs requiring a larger surface area than a simple tape.
For small tears, narrow protective areas or friction zones, our 5 cm wide INSIGNA self-adhesive tape is generally more practical.
