This strip of Bainbridge INSIGNIA self-adhesive polyester sailcloth is designed for sail repairs, local reinforcement and protection against chafing.
Its 20 × 142 cm format provides a long strip that is easy to cut, without having to purchase a full-width piece.

What repairs is it suitable for?
The 20 × 142 cm format is particularly suitable for:
- repairing a tear or damaged area;
- creating a local reinforcement;
- protecting an area exposed to chafing;
- cutting several repair patches;
- repairing a Dacron sail or another compatible polyester fabric.
How to use INSIGNIA self-adhesive sailcloth
1️⃣ Thoroughly clean and dry the area to be repaired.
2️⃣ Cut a piece slightly larger than the damaged area.
3️⃣ Round the corners to reduce the risk of peeling.
4️⃣ Remove the backing paper and gradually apply the fabric.
5️⃣ Press firmly and smooth the surface to ensure good adhesion.
For a larger tear, we recommend, whenever possible, applying one piece on each side of the sail to distribute the load more evenly.
